Hi Pratibha, could you start by telling us a bit about yourself?
I am very creative and focussed person. I am a fashion and beauty blogger and also a painter which I love the most. It’s not like I don’t love blogging. I love that too but painting is something which is very close to my heart. In 2020 auditions, I auditioned for haut monde Mrs India and got selected as one of the finalist. Being brought up in an Army environment and wedded to an army officer, has groomed my personality which I am eagerly waiting to showcase at the finale which is scheduled to happen in April.
Other than your mother, who do you think is the most beautiful woman in the world?
According to me, every women who has passion, confidence, who enjoys all that life has to offer, not just her partner or relationships who peruses her dreams, is the most beautiful women in the world.
Some people think beauty pageants are shallow parades of beauty. What do you have to say to them?
Frankly speaking, I used to think the same before. Getting into a pageant. Now my whole idea of beauty pageants has changed. I was an introvert and just the idea of facing the public and getting on the stage made me nervous. But because of Mrs India worldwide, I have developed a greater sense of confidence. It gives a platform for women / girls to be heard on different levels
Where did that first thought about entering the pageant come from?
It was my husband who encouraged me to go for the auditions. The registration came as a surprise to me
Was there anything you watched or read throughout the entire journey to keep you company and to motivate you?
I am not much of a reader but I watch a lot and lots of pageant and beauty videos
What incident in your life made you realize about your passion in pageantry?
I can’t recall of a single incident, but people used to tell me to participate in pageants or print shoots. But, it was my husband who instilled confidence in me for go for this.
Who assured you that beauty pageants are totally your cup of tea?
People have always admired my talent, which is true to my name ‘Pratibha’. It was other army officer’s wives and also friends of mine who saw the spark in me.

What does fashion mean to you?
For me fashion is expressing myself in my way
In your opinion which is the one dress that can never go out of fashion?
Saree is one outfit that can never go out of fashion
What beauty/fitness regime would you suggest for our readers?
Eat clean, workout, keep yourself fit. It will reflect on your body and skin
Where is your favorite place to travel?
I am beach person. Any place on beach is heaven for me
What is your all-time favorite movie and why?
I am a movie buff and I like all kinds of genre
Which do you prefer, Heels or Sneakers?
Heels any day
Who is your favourite fashion designer?
I don’t have a specific favourite designer. However, sabyasachi is one if had to choose one
